West Liberty Lumber has a real life barn salvage crew. I watched them as they carefully muscle an old barn apart. Stylish barn wood can be purchased at West LibertyLumber for a bargain. Thanks Wes Krabill and your team for working so hard and adding a great shopping opportunity to West Liberty Ohio!
I walked past West Liberty today on the bike trail. It's a beautiful, quiet, peaceful place to walk. What a delight to see the sage green bark highlighted in amber as the trees ponder spring. The fields of winter wheat and spring grasses are a welcome contrast to the tan and dark earth. As I walked past a stretch of wet lands I could hear the songs of birds and frogs.
What I thought initially was the sound of a jet turned out to be rolling thunder. As I hurried back, the birds chirped wildly as the gentle raindrops started. The chatter silenced with the growl of wind and as tiny pellets of hail mixed with torrents of rain swept across the fields and trail. By the time I reached home I was more wet than if I had jumped into the pool.
I know there are many snow and cold lovers, but I am fond of the warmth and green that spring brings. Today the spring sunshine is melting that beautiful snow, thankfully!
I pray that you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. We were blessed with the addition of a new grand daughter, Isabel in November, so we have delighted in spending time with our family together.
Winter has been kind to all of us who aren't fond of the cold, but now that the snow and cold are here, Madriver Ski and Snowboarding is in full swing. If you want a very comfortable place to stay after a long day on the slopes, check into our Bed & Breakfast, soak in the hot tub, relax, rest, and enjoy a satisfying breakfast before your next snow adventure.
